Job summary

Suncrest Hospice in Columbus, OH is seeking a Director of Aide Services to lead and mentor our aide team within a patient-centered hospice program.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure timely charting, and collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and CNA leadership to deliver high-quality care while complying with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing with one year of licensed experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least 1 year leadership experience.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Previous CNA experience preferred.
• Works well in a collaborative team with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
• Clear communication and problem-solving with the care team.
• Ability to learn an electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the aide team; provide ongoing training and education.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and scheduling for aides.
• Ensure charting is completed by all aides.
• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
• Support, build, and sustain a diverse team to meet objectives and goals.
• Communicate clearly and maintain relationships with team members to solve problems.
• Document actions via forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and regulatory compliance.
