Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to support patients in home settings under RN supervision. You will provide direct personal care, assist with mobility and meals, and document patient progress while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Strong compassion and reliability are essential for improving quality of life in our patients' final days. The role requires an active CNA license in the state, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug checks.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of practice.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass background check, consumer report and drug test.
• Basic HIPAA compliance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and hydration.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises.
• Support meals and light housekeeping as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN Case Manager.
• Maintain documentation and HIPAA compliant records.
• Deliver compassionate comfort and respite for family caregivers.
