Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes under RN supervision. You will support with activities of daily living, monitor health signs, and document care delivered in a patient-centered setting.

The role emphasizes 1:1 patient care, dignity, and comfort at end of life, with a full-time schedule including rotational weekends. A valid CNA certification and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
