Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver hands‑on, 1:1 care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The role focuses on personal care, vital signs, bathing, feeding support, and documenting care while traveling to patient homes throughout the day. A current CNA license, valid driver’s license, and a commitment to dignity and comfort are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Ability to provide personal care and monitor vital signs.
• Record observations and document services provided.
• Travel to patient homes and work in patients' homes.

As a Hospice Aide (CNA), you’ll be an essential part of our interdisciplinary care team, delivering compassionate, hands‑on care to patients in their homes. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support patients with personal care and daily living activities, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and the highest possible quality of life at the end of life.

Qualifications

Hospice Aide (CNA) Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
