Job summary

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CNA certification, valid driver's license with active auto insurance, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant; BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Other requirements: Valid Driver's License with current status, own transportation and auto insurance.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Home Care Aide is under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and in accordance with a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort to patients in a variety of settings. The Home Care aide travels to patient homes and provides in-home care to assigned patients daily. The care provided must be age appropriate and the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patients are to be met.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School/GED
• Licenses/Certifications: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
• Other Licenses/Certifications: Valid Drivers License in current status
• Own transportation and auto insurance
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Other skills/knowledge: Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Phlebotomy Experience
