OSF HealthCare is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) to provide safe, basic patient care including vital signs, ADLs, specimen collection, and observation. You will document care and communicate with the Patient Care Team to ensure continuity of care, with supervision as needed.
The role requires a CNA certification and CPR/BLS; preferred is a High School diploma or GED, plus up to 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
