Job summary

Elara Caring in Texas is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to support patients in their homes. You will provide hands-on personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.

Candidates must hold a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certification, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have a valid driver\'s license or reliable transportation to travel between

Qualifications

• Current State certificate as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver\'s license or have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
• Help patients safely walk, transfer, and use mobility equipment.
• Follow each patient\'s individualized care plan.
• Monitor and report changes in a patient\'s condition to the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Remind patients to take medications as directed.
• Respond to emergency situations and follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect patient privacy.

What is Required?

• Current State certificate as a Home Health Aide certification or Certified Nursing Aide certification
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
