Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Admission Registered Nurse to assess patients for hospice eligibility, coordinate with the care team, and ensure initial patient needs are addressed. This role supports families in understanding hospice services and planning care at home.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and activities they enjoy.
• Assess patients for hospice eligibility and explain hospice care services to patients and families/caregivers.
• Ensure all patient’s initial needs are addressed.
