Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse for the Kansas City Metro, MO (east).

This full-time role coordinates new patient admissions, completes assessments, educates families, and partners with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services. The position requires MO RN license, CPR, 2 years RN experience, hospice exposure, a valid driver's license, and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in Missouri.
• Current driver's license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years of Registered Nurse experience in a clinical care setting.
• One year of full-time hospice experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of new patient admissions
• Collaborate with patient care teams to support seamless communication and continuity of care
• Educate patients and families regarding condition, needs, and care
• Perform head-to-toe physical assessments
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
• Perform other duties as assigned

Hospice Admissions RN

Kansas City Metro, MO (east) | Full-Time

Territory / Work Schedule: 50-mile radius from the office, schedule Tuesday-Saturday 10am-7pm

Outstanding hospice provider seeks a full-time Admissions RN. This nurse will coordinate new patient admissions, complete comprehensive assessments, educate patients and families, and partner closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.
