Job summary

Day City Hospice in Dayton, OH is seeking an experienced RN Admissions Nurse to guide patients and families through the hospice entry process. Schedule: Four 10-Hour Weekday Shifts, including Monday and Friday.

You will conduct pre-admission evaluations, educate families about hospice services, and coordinate admissions while performing nursing assessments and developing initial care plans with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Hospice experience preferred (1 year preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Qualifications
