Salary Range: $14.00 - $17.00 Hourly

Role Overview

Madden’s is currently seeking a seasonal Horticulture team member for the 2026 season who will assist in the planting and maintaining landscape areas and flower gardens around the resort.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate an EZ-Go or John Deere utility vehicle.
• Work cooperatively with the Resort Grounds Lead Horticulturalist, other horticulture team members, and Grounds Assistant Superintendent.
• Maintain plantings in the flowerbeds on the resort and golf courses.
• Plant, weed, water, and perform other necessary duties to maintain landscaping and gardens.
• May apply liquid and dry fertilizers and nutrients to flowerbeds and landscaped areas.
• Assist in directing activities of assistant gardener.
• Assure all work is done in a safe manner.
• Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Lead Horticulturist and Grounds Assistant Superintendent.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Understand and adhere to Madden’s Smoking and Tobacco Products policy.
• Attend training and staff meetings.
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Work Environment

Work is performed mainly outside in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Primarily stationary such as sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50‑pound boxes and items sometimes repeatedly, and carry 5‑gallon buckets of water.

Expected Hours of Work

7:00 AM–3:00 PM Monday through Friday with varying hours based on sunlight and weather conditions.

Travel

Less than 10% travel required.
