Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Horizontal Construction Engineer to operate bulldozers, roadgraders and other heavy equipment, clearing sites for roads, airfields and buildings. You will level earth, clear areas, and assist in combat engineer missions while training for civilian construction careers.

Earn while you learn with paid training, tuition assistance, and a regular drill-weekend paycheck. Nine weeks of Basic Training and nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training are included.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy construction equipment and perform earthmoving tasks.
• Be comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Maintain physical fitness to meet job demands.

• Cut and spread fill material with scraper.
