Responsibilities

  • Field-based drilling operations: exploratory, development wells, on-site frac spreads and well intervention operations.
  • Office roles: drilling engineer, completions engineer, and well intervention engineer.
  • Drilling engineering tasks: cost estimation, bit and drill string design, casing and cement design, mud program design.
  • Completions engineering tasks: cost estimation, completion design (fracture or sand control), completion fluid recommendations, production tubing string design, nodal analysis for production optimization.
  • Well intervention responsibilities: planning, supervising procedures; use of coiled tubing and snubbing units for remediation.
