Job summary

Chevron is hiring civil engineering interns at various operating locations across the U.S., including Houston, to support operating facilities through mentorship and project assignments. Interns will work on optimizing facilities, supporting turnarounds and projects, and deploying technologies to reduce carbon and increase efficiency, while using data analytics to improve safety and operations.

At completion, interns may return for another internship or move into a full-time role through

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Strong academic performance in core programs, communication, leadership, teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

Responsibilities

• Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
• Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
• Develop and/or deploy industry leading technologies to reduce carbon, increase efficiency and maximize returns.
• Use digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
