Job summary

HopeWorks is seeking an experienced Property Manager for Hope Village, its permanent housing facility. The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operational and financial health of the Hope Village property, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment that aligns with the mission of HopeWorks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable or supportive housing serving homeless and SMI populations.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state housing regulations (e.g., LIHTC, Section 8, Fair Housing).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and ensure compliance with funding sources and Hope Village policies.
• Manage leasing process: applicant screening, move-ins, move-outs, and maintain resident files.
• Ensure timely rent collection, processing of payables, and accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to ensure timely work orders and quality contractor management.
• Manage all vendor contracts.

Additional Areas of Responsibility:

Oversight of the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring compliance with all funding sources and Hope Village policies. Manage the leasing process, including applicant screening, move-ins, move-outs, and maintaining accurate resident files. Ensure timely rent collection, processing of payables, and accurate financial record-keeping for the property. Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure work orders are completed promptly and to a high standard and manage all vendor contracts
