Job summary

The Hood Cleaning Service Manager at Marmic Fire & Safety oversees the daily operations of the Hood Cleaning Department, supervises a team of technicians, and coordinates service activities to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

This role involves scheduling, quoting, ordering materials, maintaining logs, and ensuring excellent customer service while driving departmental profitability and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of relevant hood cleaning experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, mechanical drawings, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in writing reports and communicating with customers and employees.
• Strong math skills, including rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting drawings.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and substance abuse screening.
• Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds and work in crawl spaces, lifts, and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Hood Cleaning Department operations, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to safety and quality standards.
• Provide quotes for repair work to customers and coordinate with Branch Manager for new jobs.
• Order materials for repairs and quoted jobs; schedule service work and assign technicians.
• Attend meetings to coordinate department activities and align with company goals.
• Review timesheets and payroll; collect work orders and daily logs.
