Job summary

Georgia Southern University’s Honors College is seeking an enthusiastic Honors Program Coordinator to develop and organize student success programming for honors students, advising groups, and campus partners. You will manage communications across website, email, and social media, serving as a liaison to campus and community partners and coordinating events and activities to support student achievement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Two or more years of related work experience.
Experience with honors or high-ability students preferred.
Academic advising experience preferred.
Experience with co-curricular and extra-curricular programs preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate honors student success programs on both Armstrong and Statesboro campuses.
May serve as advisor to honors student groups.
May provide direct supervision to student support staff.
Advise students on options to satisfy honors degree requirements and register for classes.
Educate students on scholarship opportunities and university resources.
Develop and maintain student files and records.
Coordinate communications to honors populations via website, email, and social media.
Manage interactions with faculty, staff, and community partners.
