Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience in collegiate advising, academic counseling, or student affairs.

Responsibilities

• Leads onboarding and advising of Honors students, including New Student Orientation and small group sessions.
• Facilitates Honors 101 Pilot course content, evaluates student work, and communicates with students and Honors Faculty Leaders.
• Advises students on Honors program graduation requirements and assists with course registration to support retention.
• Interprets university policies for Honors students and guides students in warning and probation statuses.
• Develops retention strategies and coordinates Honors programming with the Director of UHP.
• Represents Honors to the University Undergraduate Association of Academic Advisors.
• Promotes Honors resources across campus and supervises Hons GA/students.
