The assistant director teaches within Honors each semester, comprising half of the role, and develops specially designed interdisciplinary seminars alongside general-education Honors sections.

The position draws teaching expertise from across Arts and Sciences and/or Communication, Fine Arts, and Media.

Qualifications

• Leading day-to-day operations of the Honors Program.
• Teaching in the Honors Program each semester (50% of the role).
• Developing interdisciplinary seminars alongside general-education Honors sections.
• Drawing teaching expertise from Arts and Sciences and/or Communication, Fine Arts, and Media.
• Tailoring coursework and pedagogy to Honors students.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations of the Honors Program.
• Teach in the Honors Program each semester (50%).
• Develop and offer general-education Honors sections alongside interdisciplinary seminars.
• Collaborate with departments to align pedagogy for Honors courses.
• Operate within Academic Affairs as part of the Honors Program leadership team.
