  • Master's degree in disciplines within UNO's Colleges of Arts & Sciences or Fine Arts, Communication, and Media.
  • Experience teaching Honors students.
  • Experience mentoring or advising high-achieving students.

Responsibilities

  • Provides professional academic advising for Honors students and develops academic planning for all Honors pathways.
  • Directs activities such as internships or FUSE and develops procedures/materials for those areas.
  • Monitors retention and graduation rates and guides students toward graduation and success.
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a public-facing role.
  • May guide prospective students through recruitment events and transcript evaluation.
