Ethos Veterinary Health’s Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) in Honolulu seeks a Per Diem Client Service Representative to be the first friendly face for clients of a premier emergency and specialty hospital. Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical reception preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to seek guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism and compassion.
• Serve as the first point of contact for emergency and specialty clients.
• Prepare, review and maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Educate clients about hospital services, policies and treatment processes.
• Schedule appointments, manage emergency visits and respond to client requests.
• Process admissions, discharges and follow-up appointments.
• Accurately prepare invoices, collect payments and maintain financial records.
• Update electronic client and patient files according to hospital standards.
• Perform administrative duties including scanning, emailing, filing and document management.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians and support teams.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
