Ethos Veterinary Health’s Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) in Honolulu seeks a Per Diem Client Service Representative to be the first friendly face for clients of a premier emergency and specialty hospital. • Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical reception preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism and compassion.
• Serve as the first point of contact for emergency and specialty clients.
• Prepare, review and maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Educate clients about hospital services, policies and treatment processes.
• Schedule appointments, manage emergency visits and respond to client requests.
• Process admissions, discharges and follow-up appointments.
• Accurately prepare invoices, collect payments and maintain financial records.
• Update electronic client and patient files according to hospital standards.
• Perform administrative duties including scanning, emailing, filing and document management.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians and support teams.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

Client Service Representative – Per Diem

Join the Client Care team at Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) and help create an exceptional experience for pets and their families. As a Per Diem Client Service Representative, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for clients visiting one of Hawaii’s premier emergency and specialty veterinary hospitals while supporting a collaborative team dedicated to outstanding patient care.

Per Diem Requirements: This is a casual, as‑needed position. Per diem Client Service Representatives are required to work a minimum of two shifts per month to maintain active status.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical reception experience preferred.
