Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii, Hawaii's largest locally owned waste hauling company, is seeking a Dispatcher in Honolulu to direct drivers and manage service orders.

You will track routes, communicate via two-way radio, maintain logs, and coordinate with management. The ideal candidate has prior dispatching or fleet coordination experience and a high school diploma. This full-time position requires Mon-Fri hours with shift times determined by operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior dispatch/logistics experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle service orders and direct drivers throughout the day.
• Track routes and monitor driver progress.
• Communicate via two-way radio with drivers in the field.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork.
• Debrief drivers at the end of routes.
• Coordinate with management on day-to-day operational needs.
• Assist drivers with on-route issues quickly and effectively.
