Job summary

Bobby Rahal Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our State College service team. You will field calls, schedule appointments, greet customers, document concerns, and communicate repairs between clients and technicians.

Ideal candidates have exceptional customer service, strong phone/computer skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Prior dealership automotive experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate phone and computer systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Previous dealership/auto service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound client calls to schedule service appointments.
• Greet clients in the service drive and document concerns accurately.
• Act as liaison between clients and technicians; explain recommended work and obtain approvals.
• Provide honest, accurate labor and parts estimates and ensure correct billing.

Rate of Pay: Based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this position, you field phone calls from clients who have general questions or are looking to schedule service appointments, and when they drop their vehicle off at the dealership you greet them with a smile and ensure we have an accurate description of their concerns. You then act as the liaison between our Service Technicians and the client, explaining all recommended work and getting authorization to perform repairs. You provide honest, accurate estimates on labor and parts and ensure that all charges are billed out correctly.
