Motor Werks, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, seeks a Service Advisor to greet customers, document service requests, and coordinate with technicians in a busy Barrington, IL dealership. You will communicate clearly, provide repair estimates, and ensure a smooth service experience.

Ideal candidates have automotive knowledge, strong customer service skills, and experience with dealership systems. Training and growth opportunities are offered within the group.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Knowledge of automotive service and repair processes, including basic technical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and assist them with scheduling service appointments.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service requests and vehicle symptoms.
• Conduct vehicle walk-around inspections to identify service needs and communicate recommended repairs to customers.
• Provide transparent and detailed explanations of service recommendations, including estimated costs and timelines.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient completion of customer repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on repair progress.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Knowledge of automotive service and repair processes, including basic technical terminology.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer applications and dealership management systems.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
