Job summary

AmeriCorps State / National program in Vermont seeks a Homeownership Engagement Coordinator to expand Champlain Housing Trust's reach, assist clients with VHCB AmeriCorps programs, and analyze client feedback to improve homeownership initiatives.

The role focuses on community outreach, education, surveys, outreach events, and collaboration with partners, with a commitment to serving low-to-moderate income Vermonters through AmeriCorps.

Qualifications

• Provide information to community about financial education, shared equity homeownership, and special loan programs.
• Oversee distribution and collection of education and homeowner client surveys, provide analysis of client feedback
• Coordinate focus groups to compile feedback into program recommendations
• Develop outreach initiatives with community partners
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and groups (and plan and coordinate event details)
• Support clients to engage with programs and services
• Assist clients with applications
• Participate in an Independent Service Project, all VHCB AmeriCorps trainings/events/service days, and program initiatives
