VHCB AmeriCorps seeks a Team Engagement & Service Coordinator to connect members with communities and lead service projects in Vermont. You will support member development and promote the program’s mission across events and outreach activities.

Create a meaningful and impactful term of service for all VHCB AmeriCorps members by fostering a strong connection to the Program and supporting members in achieving their professional and personal goals. Build connections and deepen program impact between members and the community by coordinating and leading service projects. Complete an extensive Independent Service Project. This position is part of the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board AmeriCorps (VHCB AmeriCorps). The VHCB AmeriCorps program supports the innovative dual-goal approach to creating stable affordable housing opportunities for Vermont residents while preserving the natural and working landscape. Serving on the front lines of community-based organizations, VHCB AmeriCorps members energize, engage, and empower residents to address unmet needs at the local level, collectively creating positive change and building a healthy future for Vermont. This position is Full Time: Requires 1,720 hours for an average of 40 hours per week for 48 weeks. Member will receive a living allowance of $31,000 (pre‑tax) for the service term. Member will receive an education award of $7,395 (pre‑tax) upon successful completion of service. Other benefits include health insurance, federal school loan forbearance, and various training and networking opportunities.
