Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company at Stratton is seeking a Seasonal Homeowners' Lounge Attendant to welcome Stratton homeowners and guests, maintain a clean, comfortable lounge, and support daily operations. The role is part-time seasonal with a starting wage of $20 an hour.

Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December. Evening, weekend and holiday shifts may apply, with opportunities to contribute to a welcoming guest experience and assist in lounge management.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Prior front desk experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing guests/owners warmly.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable lounge and restock supplies.
• Respond to homeowner questions professionally, escalate when needed.
• Build positive relationships with homeowners through friendly service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Homeowners' Lounge Attendant helps create a welcoming, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for Stratton homeowners and their guests. This position creates a welcoming environment while supporting the daily operation, cleanliness, and presentation of the private Homeowners' Lounge. The Attendant serves as a point of contact for general resort information, monitors lounge access, and helps ensure a positive and consistent experience for those using the space. This is a part-time seasonal role with a starting wage of $20 an hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all arriving and departing guests/owners
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting lounge environment throughout the day, including clearing and cleaning tables, tidying common areas, and restocking supplies
• Respond to homeowner questions and concerns professionally, seeking assistance or escalating issues when appropriate
• Build positive relationships with homeowners through friendly interactions, attentive service, and a welcoming demeanor
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Previous customer service experience
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Previous front desk experience, preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a regular and repeating basis

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
