Job summary

Austin Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Homeowner Recruitment Specialist in Austin, TX to lead employer-based recruitment and partnerships. You will grow a pipeline of prospective homeowners by engaging large employers, healthcare systems, schools, unions, and other workforce partners within the five-county area.

The role focuses on outreach, lead generation, and coordinating with Client Services to guide applicants through the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in relationship-building, outreach, recruitment, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to build partnerships with HR departments, employers, and community organizations.
• Experience using CRM or lead-tracking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted recruitment strategies to grow the homeowner pipeline with employers and workforce partners.
• Identify and cultivate employer partnerships to connect prospective homeowners with Austin Habitat’s programs.
• Build relationships with employer partners through newsletters, meetings, and information sessions.
• Generate homeowner leads through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Coordinate with Client Services to ensure smooth handoffs and accurate lead information.
• Maintain records of partnerships, outreach activities, and lead conversions in the database.
