Job summary

Elara Caring in Massachusetts is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients in their homes. Most visits are 1–3 hours, and caregivers may visit multiple clients per day. Weekly hours depend on client needs, availability, and service area. Full-time hours may not be available immediately.

Qualifications

• Certified for at least one caregiver level ( Homemaker, Personal Care, HHA, or CNA ).
• Reliable personal transportation required.
• Willingness to travel between client homes for short visits.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and household support.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
• Shop for groceries and run client errands (mileage reimbursed).
• Provide personal care, grooming and dressing assistance.
• Bathing and hands-on care for qualified HHA/CNA caregivers.

What You'll Do

• Companionship and household support
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and client errands (Milage reimbursement is .72 cents per mile)
• Personal care, grooming, and dressing
• Bathing and additional hands‑on care for qualified HHA/CNA caregivers

What We're Looking For

Candidates must be certified for at least one caregiver level: Homemaker: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker training certificate Personal Care: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker + Personal Care training certificate. HHA: Qualifying Home Health Aide certification or active CNA License. Reliable personal transportation Comfortable traveling between client homes for short visits Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable providing in-home care Previous caregiving experience preferred
