Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes in Massachusetts. Most visits are 1–3 hours, with shifts Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. Benefits include training, career growth, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and daily pay options.

Candidates must have MA Homemaker, Personal Care training certificates, or an active HHA/CNA license, plus reliable transportation and willingness to travel between homes. Previous caregiving experience preferred.

• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel between client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and household support.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist with grocery shopping and client errands; mileage reimbursed per mile.
• Assist with personal care, grooming and dressing.
• Provide in-home care including bathing for approved levels.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.58/hr, based on certification and documented experience

Availability Needed: Monday – Friday, Time Frame: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Most client visits are 1–3 hours , and caregivers may visit multiple clients per day. Weekly hours depend on client needs, your availability, and your service area. Full-time hours may not be available immediately.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities depend on your certification level and may include:

• Companionship and household support
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and client errands (Milage reimbursement is .72 cents per mile)
• Personal care, grooming, and dressing
• Bathing and additional hands‑on care for qualified HHA/CNA caregivers

What We're Looking For

Candidates must be certified for at least one caregiver level:

• Homemaker: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker training certificate
• Personal Care: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker + Personal Care training certificate.
• HHA: Qualifying Home Health Aide certification or active CNA License.
• Reliable personal transportation
• Comfortable traveling between client homes for short visits
• Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable providing in‑home care
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
