Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes. Most visits are 1–3 hours, with the possibility of visiting multiple clients per day. Weekly hours depend on client needs, your availability, and service area. Availability is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.

New hires can earn a sign-on bonus up to $700 and may access paid training and career growth opportunities. Company benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, are available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Certified caregiver with homemaker or personal care training as required by state.
• HHA certification or CNA license is preferred for higher-level duties.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client homes are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and household support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist with grocery shopping and client errands (mileage reimbursed).
• Support personal care, grooming, and dressing as needed.
• Assist with bathing and additional hands-on care for eligible caregivers.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.58/hr, based on certification and documented experience, Sign-On Bonus up to $700.

What You’ll Do

• Companionship and household support
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and client errands (Milage reimbursement is .72 cents per mile)
• Personal care, grooming, and dressing
• Bathing and additional hand-on care for qualified HHA/CNA caregivers

What We’re Looking For

• Candidates must be certified for at least one caregiver level:
• Homemaker: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker training certificate
• Personal Care: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker + Personal Care training certificate
• HHA: Qualifying Home Health Aide certification or active CNA license
• Reliable personal transportation
• Comfortable traveling between client homes for short visits
• Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable providing in-home care
• Previous caregiving experience preferred

Sign On Bonus

*Sign On Bonus - New hires can earn up to $700 during their first 13 work weeks based on completed, verified patient visits. Eligible hours are based on verified patient visits during the applicable Sunday – Saturday work week. Travel time, class/training hours, and hours marked "do not pay" are excluded. The first bonus week is the first full work week following the employee’s hire date.
