Job summary

Fairway View Senior Neighborhoods seeks Homemakers to assist with dining services and housekeeping duties within the neighborhoods. Training provided; no certification required.

Hours include Evening Shift (11:00am-7:30pm), 56 hours per 2 weeks, with a $1.50 shift differential. Benefits include full healthcare, PTO, retirement with employer match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Performs housekeeping to maintain clean and neat living areas.
• Assists residents with meals, snacks, and nourishment.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in kitchens and dining areas.
• Coordinates with household caregivers to meet resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and neatness of household surroundings
• Meets all resident and household needs by actively assisting in all tasks to meet identified needs.
• Maintains equipment and cooking area to ensure safety and sanitation requirements are met; keeps a clean, tidy and organized kitchen in compliance with all regulations; cleans when necessary; reports repair and maintenance needs appropriately
• Assist with serving resident meals, snacks and nourishments.
• Assist residents with their clothing including washing, sorting, and folding
• Coordinates work with the household caregivers to ensure the housekeeping needs of the household are met
• Continually seeks opportunities to share personal interests and talents with members of the household through both planned and spontaneous activities

What you can expect being a Homemaker:

• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and neatness of household surroundings
• Meets all resident and household needs by actively assisting in all tasks to meet identified needs.
• Maintains equipment and cooking area to ensure safety and sanitation requirements are met; keeps a clean, tidy and organized kitchen in compliance with all regulations; cleans when necessary; reports repair and maintenance needs appropriately
• Assist with serving resident meals, snacks and nourishments.
• Assist residents with their clothing including washing, sorting, and folding
• Coordinates work with the household caregivers to ensure the housekeeping needs of the household are met
• Continually seeks opportunities to share personal interests and talents with members of the household through both planned and spontaneous activities

Hours and Pay:

• Evening Shift (11:00am-7:30pm), 56 hours per 2 week pay period
• $1.50 per hour shift differential
• Alternating weekends, with 1 holiday rotation per year
