Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. seeks a Homemaker to assist patients at home with light housekeeping, meals, errands, and personal care as outlined in each plan. The caregiver provides companionship and helps maintain a clean, safe living environment to promote independence and quality of life.

Eligible candidates have at least six months of verifiable caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Flexible scheduling and daily pay options are available.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience assisting with personal care, housekeeping, cleaning, or providing hands‑on caregiving.
• Attention to detail and the ability to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation to and from patient homes.
• Valid Driver's License and current Auto Insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with everyday household needs, including light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and other basic household errands.
• Help patients with daily living activities and basic personal care needs as outlined in their plan of care.

• Help patients maintain an organized, comfortable home while promoting their independence.
• Communicate patient needs or changes in their home environment to the appropriate nursing team member, when necessary.

As a Homemaker, you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll help patients maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment while providing support that promotes their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

• Flexible scheduling with visits available Monday–Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. You do not need to be available for the entire timeframe; schedules can vary within these hours based on your availability and patient needs.
