City of San José seeks an Analyst in the Housing Department's Homelessness Response Division to support shelter throughput and placement coordination. You will focus on connecting individuals experiencing homelessness with available shelter and interim housing opportunities, coordinating move-in logistics, maintaining program data, and supporting provider performance and reporting.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with HMIS and data reporting is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate shelter and interim housing matchmaking and throughput.
• Manage move-in schedules and provider availability for placements.
• Maintain communication with service providers, outreach teams, and partners.
• Provide high-level customer service while handling referrals and scheduling.
• Use HMIS to review participant data, monitor activity, and support matchmaking.
• Run HMIS and program reports to monitor shelter utilization and performance.
• Conduct data quality reviews and work with providers to correct data.
• Assist with monitoring provider performance and contract metrics.
• Prepare data summaries, dashboards, and reports for management.
• Coordinate meetings with City staff and community partners.
• Draft City Council memoranda and procurement-related materials.
• Support RFPs and procurement processes and contract development.
