Job summary

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Homelessness Prevention Manager to lead planning, launch, and ongoing operation of Nebraska’s Right at Home homelessness prevention initiative in Lincoln, NE. You will coordinate project timelines, provider readiness, TA for HUBs, service coordination, and HMIS workflows, with partners across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social work, sociology, public health, human services, nonprofit management, planning, community development, research administration, or a related field and two years of experience in project coordination, program implementation, homelessness response, housing services, homelessness prevention, housing stabilization, human services, nonprofit administration, public systems work, or a closely related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of housing instability, homelessness response systems, housing stabilization, or related human services systems.
• Experience supporting multi-step projects involving timelines, meetings, documentation, task tracking, partner communication, and follow-up.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Support planning, launching, implementing, and operating nebraska’s Right at Home homelessness prevention initiative.
• Coordinate project timelines, provider readiness, and community-based service HUB TA.
• Collaborate on HMIS operational workflows and payment processing via external fund holder.
• Provide evaluation support and supervise assigned Right at Home staff.
• Work with CCFL Community Services leadership, Continuum of Care partners, HUBs, HMIS staff, funders, and partners in a complex multi-partner environment.
