Job summary

Orange County Government seeks a lead for the Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness (OCPEH) to direct the Housing Helpline, SOAR, and Rapid Rehousing programs, ensuring coordinated entry, housing referrals, and client services.

The role works under the OCPEH Manager, requires a bachelor’s degree plus two years housing program experience and two years of supervisory experience, plus a North Carolina driver’s license and a background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of professional housing program experience.
• Experience working with housing funding streams at federal, state and local levels, and policy-level housing research.
• Two years of direct supervision of staff.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
• Background check required; offers conditioned upon clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the three OCPEH programs: Housing Helpline, SOAR, and Rapid Rehousing.
• Collaborate extensively with OCPEH staff and Housing Department teams.
• Exercise independent judgment within rules, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee planning and execution of program assignments and customer service delivery.
