Maxim Healthcare Services in Manassas, VA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to provide dedicated patient care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. This full-time/part-time/PRN role offers day and night shifts and serves pediatric patients with complex needs.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, assessing changes in patient condition, and documenting care plans and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/RN license for the practicing state.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year LPN/RN experience.

• Assesses signs and symptoms of physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Collects and analyzes data; documents nursing diagnoses and outcomes.

• Revises the plan of care as needed.
• Uses clinical judgment to set priorities on the unit.
• Other LPN/RN duties as assigned.

Salary: LPN: $33 - $35 / per hour RN: $43 - $45 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The LPN or RNdemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Current Need: Full Time/Part Time/PRN

• Scheduling: Weekdays or Weekends - Day shift or night shifts
• Age Group: Pediatric (Please ask for further info regarding age range)
• Patient Need: G-tube, Trach, or Vent
• Location: Manassas, Nokesville, Bristow

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
• Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
• Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.
• Other LPN/RN duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current LPN/RN License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior LPN/RN experience required.
