Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to apply the nursing process and deliver patient care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Positions available: Part Time, Full Time, PRN with weekdays/weekends, day or night shifts in Woodbridge, Dumfries, Manassas.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/RN license in the state of practice.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior LPN/RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses and plan of care.
• Document the plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Perform interventions according to priorities, plan of care and hospital policies.
• Revise the plan of care as needed based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.

Salary: LPN: $33 - $35 / per hour RN: $43 - $45 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The LPN or RNdemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Current Need: Part Time, Full Time, PRN

• Scheduling: Weekdays or Weekends. Days or night shifts.
• Age Group: Pediatric (Please ask for further info regarding age range)
• Patient Need: G-tube, Trach, or Vent
• Location: Woodbridge, Dumfries, Manassas.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
• Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
• Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.
• Other LPN/RN duties as assigned.

Requirements

• CurrentLPN/RN License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior LPN/RN experience required.
