Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring an LPN to provide in-home nursing care for a patient in Burnsville, North Carolina.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, with night shifts from Sunday at 9pm to Saturday 8am.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practice occurs.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
