Job summary

Taylor Morrison is seeking a Superintendent to lead construction activities in the Charlotte, NC area. You will oversee the homebuilding process from planning through completion, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and schedules to meet financial, safety, and quality goals.

You will mentor team members, monitor costs and timelines, and ensure top-tier customer service and post-close warranty support. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills and a hands-on approach to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of Construction experience (preferably with a production builder).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or related field preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall homebuilding process across assigned community(ies).
• Foster a cohesive team environment and maintain positive subcontractor relations.
• Manage the construction schedule and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of high-quality homes.
• Continually evaluate quality, safety, scheduling and cost control measures and enforce site safety.
• Provide mentoring to team members and support training as needed.
• Authorize payments for materials and work completed, and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule.
• Assist buyers with understanding home construction and ensure satisfaction at move-in.
