Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a 3rd grade Life Skills student through Homebound services. This contract-based role delivers 6 hours weekly (4 instructional, 2 compensatory) onsite, with ESY dates to be confirmed.

You will collaborate with families and district staff, adapt lessons to individual needs, and maintain thorough progress records to ensure continuity of services through the school year 2026-2027.

Qualifications

• Special Education Teacher certification with homebound experience.
• Life skills education at elementary level.
• Ability to deliver individualized instruction and compensatory services.
• Onsite work and communication with families and school teams.
• Documentation compliance and legally compliant records.
• Enthusiasm for enriching learning for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide 6 hours per week of Homebound services (4 instructional, 2 compensatory).
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans for a 3rd grade Life Skills student.
• Maintain records of progress, attendance, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and district personnel.
• Adjust teaching strategies to maximize student success.
• Remain flexible to schedule adjustments and evolving ESY dates.
• Participate in regular meetings and updates as required by the district.
