ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a 3rd grade Life Skills student through Homebound services. This contract-based role delivers 6 hours weekly (4 instructional, 2 compensatory) onsite, with ESY dates to be confirmed.

You will collaborate with families and district staff, adapt lessons to individual needs, and maintain thorough progress records to ensure continuity of services through the school year 2026-2027.

Qualifications

• Special Education Teacher certification with homebound experience.

Job Description

Make a difference for a young learner as a Special Education Teacher supporting a 3rd grade Life Skills student through Homebound services. This contract-based opportunity provides essential instructional and compensatory hours weekly and requires a dedicated, compassionate educator who thrives in one-on-one environments. The assignment begins as soon as possible, with homebound services continuing through ESY (date to be confirmed) and an option to extend through the entire 2026-2027 school year.

What We're Looking For:

• Special Education Teacher certification with experience in specialized or homebound instruction
• Strong understanding of life skills education at the elementary level
• Ability to deliver individualized instruction, adapt lessons, and provide instructional/compensatory services
• Comfortable working onsite and maintaining clear communication with families and school teams
• Up-to-date on current best practices and legally compliant documentation
