Job summary

Campus Adventures Staffing Solutions is seeking Certified Special Education (SPED) Substitute Teachers for long-term assignments at public charter schools in the 78227 area for the new academic year in August 2026.

This role requires educators who are confident supporting students with diverse learning needs across Life Skills, Reading by Design, Behavior, and Inclusion classrooms. Note: after the long-term assignment ends, there is an option to continue as a daily substitute at an adjusted rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Valid Special Education Certification required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with provided lesson plans and IEP accommodations.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and functional needs.
• Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
• Implement behavior management strategies and reinforcement systems.
• Adapt instruction and materials based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and campus staff.
• Track student progress and communicate updates as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all SPED-related requirements and expectations.
