Job summary

Esler Companies, doing business as Renewal by Andersen, is hiring a full-time Service Technician to visit customers’ homes and repair, troubleshoot, and maintain windows and doors. Ideal candidates have hands-on carpentry/remodeling experience and strong customer communication skills.

The role requires driving to homes, completing service documentation, and delivering a professional customer experience. Training provided; E-Verify participation noted.

Qualifications

• Hands-on carpentry, remodeling, residential construction, window or door installation experience.
• Ability to install a window or door from start to finish, including trim work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organized and complete service documentation accurately.
• Comfort using Apple devices and mobile applications.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on windows and doors.
• Visit customers' homes to assess concerns with windows and doors.
• Diagnose installation, product, and performance issues.
• Complete repairs and service work accurately and efficiently.
• Explain findings and next steps clearly to homeowners.
• Evaluate proper window and door installation and operation.
• Complete and submit warranty and service documentation on time.
• Maintain a professional, respectful experience in every customer's home.
