Job summary

Primary Services is hiring a Home Warranty Customer Service Specialist in Utah. You will assist homeowners with warranty claims, repair coordination, and coverage questions, handling inbound calls and documenting service details.

This role blends customer service, account research, and service coordination to guide customers through the repair process. You will work with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams to review coverage, resolve issues, and provide recommended warranty options while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service, contact center, claims support, or related experience preferred.
• Experience handling inbound customer calls and resolving inquiries.
• Background in home warranty services or related fields preferred.
• Experience reviewing accounts, service agreements, or coverage guidelines preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based customer management systems.
• Experience documenting customer interactions, processing service requests, and maintaining records.
• Familiarity with contractor scheduling, repair coordination, or warranty claims preferred.
• Experience managing high-volume customer interactions and meeting performance standards.
• Experience with customer retention, service recommendations, or upselling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls regarding home warranty coverage, appliance breakdowns, and repair requests.
• Review customer accounts, service agreements, and warranty coverage to determine options.
• Assist homeowners with filing warranty claims and initiating repair service requests.
• Document appliance issues, customer concerns, and claim information within internal systems.
• Explain warranty terms, coverage limitations, claim decisions, and repair procedures.
• Coordinate service authorizations, contractor dispatch requests, and follow-up activities.
• Research account discrepancies and resolve questions involving claims or service requests.
• Communicate with service providers and internal departments to support timely claim resolution.
• Assist customers with repair alternatives, claim settlements, and other approved resolutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records while meeting call handling and quality standards.
• Support escalated concerns involving delays, coverage disputes, or unresolved claims.
• Recommend additional warranty coverage options based on customer needs.
