Easterseals Southern California is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to plan, implement, and evaluate inclusive curricula for children in a Head Start setting. The role includes home visits, collaboration with families, and participation in coaching and training activities.

The position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent, a national Home Visitor CDA credential or higher, and California educational requirements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or National equivalent required.
• CDA Credential or equivalent meeting CDA requirements or coursework in Early Childhood Education/Child Development with at least one course in core areas.
• A Child Development Permit is encouraged and may be required by the County.

Responsabilités

• Plans, implements, evaluates and supervises a developmentally appropriate and inclusive curriculum.
• Travels weekly to child’s home or agreed location and supports parent–child relationships.
• Participates in practice-based coaching and recruitment/ intake of participants.
