Job summary

Sleep Management, LLC d/b/a VieMed for home respiratory therapy services in Lafayette, LA seeks a Respiratory Therapist leader to manage clinical, technical and administrative functions at the location. The role includes equipment setup, staff training, and collaboration with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must have RT License.
• Must have high speed internet.
• Clinical – This job will require the employee to set-up and service medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Install/setup of CPAP, AutoPAP, and BiPAP equipment and provide supplies to patients.
• Schedule setups with patients and explain clinical benefits of PAP therapy and risks of sleep apnea.
• Maintain records, charts, clinical files and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with physicians and other health care professionals involved in patient care.
• Oversee regulatory compliance for staff respiratory therapy services.
• Orient and train new respiratory therapy staff and technicians.
• Assist with billing and third‑party payor documentation and ensure timely billing.
• Promote home respiratory therapy services to referral sources.
• Ensure equipment is safe and properly operated prior to installation.
• Be available for patient contact and respond to patient needs.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to complete tasks.
