Job summary

VieMed Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to manage the PAP therapy program at Lafayette location. You will install, service, and monitor CPAP, AutoPAP, and BiPAP devices and ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

This role requires an RT license, strong communication, and ability to work with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care. Normal business hours, in-office and field support.

Qualifications

• Must have RT license.
• Must have high-speed internet.
• Experience with home respiratory therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up CPAP/BiPAP devices and supply ongoing patient equipment.
• Contact patients to schedule setups and explain benefits and risks.
• Coordinate clinical care with physicians and other health professionals.
• Maintain charts, records, and equipment logs.
• Update patient demographics and regulatory compliance.
• Train and orient new respiratory therapist staff.
• Assist billing with documentation for third-party payers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote home respiratory therapy services.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and timely patient support.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
