Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Home Shopping Department Manager to lead daily fulfillment operations, ensure accurate and timely order completion, and drive digital sales growth while delivering a seamless customer experience.

You will manage a high‑volume, hands‑on team, hire and coach associates, monitor performance metrics, ensure food safety and compliance, and partner with store leaders to optimize inventory and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail or grocery operations experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and coach associates.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with order fulfilment and student shopper processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Home Shopping Department operations ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment.
• Deliver an exceptional pick-up and delivery experience while resolving customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.
• Coordinate end-to-end fulfillment processes including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination where applicable.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Create and manage schedules aligned with order volume and productivity expectations.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates while fostering a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and company standards.
